Living in Cedar Hill just got even more fun this summer! The Music in the Park Concert Series is every Friday in June. Enjoy free concerts by various artists and genres throughout the month. The Concert starts at 8:00 pm at Valley Ridge Park Amphitheater. For your convenience there will be a food vender at each event, so come early and have dinner in the park!
This year’s Concert Series is starting off with Joyce Spencer & Expressions. Joyce Spencer’s musical influence came because of her grandfather Freeman Fontenot, one of the originators of Zydeco music. After a 20-year hiatus, Joyce returned to music and released her first CD, “Sweet Dreams”, in 2010. Now, you will find Joyce and her band, Expressions, playing in several venues and events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Valley Ridge Amphitheater is a 3,000 square foot amphitheater. It features a natural bowl, seating for 2,000 people, 302 paved parking spaces.
Address: 2850 Park Ridge Drive, Cedar Hill, TX 75104
Time: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm on June 7th.

With more than 3,000 acres of unmatched beauty in Cedar Hill, Lake Ridge is a community all its own. Residents come home to the peace and serenity of a natural landscape, leaving city stress at the community entrance.
Living at Lake Ridge means more space for your family. Large half to 1+ acre homesites provide breathing room and privacy from your neighbors. It also means options. You can choose the homesite that is right for you then use any custom builder you like – designing the home of your dreams with the view you’ve always wanted. Plus, there is no timeframe to build, so once you have secured your homesite, you can take time designing your custom home with your builder of choice.
