Scare on the Square will take place in historic downtown Cedar Hill on October 30th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The night will kick off with photo ops in Pioneer Park followed by creepy tales told by master storytellers. Finally, a costume parade will finish the festivities before children are invited to trick-or-treat at downtown merchants. Admission is free.
Uptown Village’s annual Trunk or Treat will take place on October 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. The free event features Midlothian Classic Wheels and Cedar Hill Cruisers Club members who will line their cars decorated for Halloween in the parking lot of Petaluma Cafe. Children can visit each area to trick-or-treat. The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a goody bag. Guests can enjoy a concert by a local band and children can make Halloween crafts.
Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation is hosting Street-N-Treat on Halloween night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is free for all ages. Enjoy games, goodies and trick-or-treating.
La Z Radio presents the Annual Haunted Hallway. This free full-day event includes a costume contest and lots of candy.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not hosts Nightmare at Wax Museum every Friday and Saturday October 10-31. You can buy tickets online or at the door.
Bark N’ the Dark provides a fun night with the family and supports Rescue Me Dallas. The event takes place October, 25 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at Barking House Village. There will be food, trunk-or-treat, adoptable dogs, costume contests and games. Adult tickets are $10 while children 12 and under are free.
