Lake Ridge is partnering with the Cedar Hill Collegiate PTSA

A proud member of the community and strong supporter of local schools, Lake Ridge is partnering with the Cedar Hill Collegiate PTSA as they raise money for scholarships. The Lake Ridge Sales Center is a designated drop-off spot for the Cedar Hill Collegiate PTSA’s shoe drive, titled “Share your Soles”.
This fundraising effort seeks to raise at least $7,000 in scholarship money for the 2014–2015 school year during a six-week shoe drive. Those wishing to contribute can simply drop their gently used shoes in the donation box located in the Lake Ridge Sales Center beginning on Monday, Sept. 18.
About Collegiate High School
The Cedar Hill Collegiate High School is a charter school in the Cedar Hill Independent School District that offers students the opportunity to finish high school while getting an Associate’s degree. The school is nationally recognized by US News and World Report and Great Schools. The school received a National Bronze Rank for High Schools by US News & World Report and is ranked 10 out of 10 by Great Schools. The Texas Tribune reports that students at Collegiate High School also perform well above the state average on TAKS tests.
